When we bred the Beyer's sow that most now refer to as "Skull Candy's mother" to Next Up, we didn't think this would be her last litter (this was only her third litter). As fate would have it, these three litters are all she gave us and that's all it took to knock it out of the park! Her first litter produced the grand overall at the 2019 Utah State Fair plus another gilt that is now a big time sow in our herd, her second litter gave us the popular $17,000 Skull Candy at Premium Blend Genetics, and her final litter gave us this stud: Mama Tried! For those that have seen Skull Candy in person, Mama Tried has his same gigantic chest, and then some. Mama Tried also has awesome toes, big legs, and a great look on profile! He needs to be used to make great durocs, and we're confident he'll carry on his mama's legacy!
